Where is the Classes located?
The classes are held in different locations, www.salonmonalisa.com 2515 West Beverly Blvd, Montebello, CA 91754 6 miles East of Downtown Los Angeles, We also have classes at www.naimies.com in Studio City and www.temptu.com in Los Angeles, CA. On special occasions we will also have classes at www.cinemasecrets.com
How long are the classes?
The classes are 1, 2, 3 and 5 day classes that run a full day 9 to 5:30 and classes that are on Sunday's at Naimies are 11 to 5pm.
Who are the instructors?
The instructors that teach have anywhere from 7 years experience to 20 years. They are passionate about their work and have the credentials to prove their experience.
How many students in each class?
Each class will have no less than 4 and no more that 10 or 12 depending on the location. There will always be additional instructors for larger groups. You will not be left out everyone will get equal attention.
Who do we apply makeup on or do hair styling on?
You will need a model for each of our classes we do not work on each other, see the page "Finding a Makeup Model?" to help you further. For the hair classes you can bring a model or use a doll head available at Sally's Beauty Supply.
Do I have to purchase a makeup kit?
I will provide all the make-up, skincare and hair products you will need. The 5 day beauty and 3 day runway come with a set of brushes. For the other classes you can bring your makeup brushes or you can purchase a set through me. Everyone will need to provide their own eyelashes for the class.
Is there job placement?
This is the freelance world, I will advise you on where you should be looking, how to find freelance work and you will be first added to a list of people I will take with me on my jobs as well as helping you with photo shoots.
Why should I choose these workshop classes instead of an actual school?
Let's start with price, all my classes are under 1,000 dollars. You get intense education and an affordable price. Time: My classes are flexible and are great for working people, students and again their affordable. The larger school cost anywhere from 3,000 to 20,000 depending on what your needs are.
Can I get a refund if I decide not to take the class?
There are no refunds, however you can take the class at a later time.
Deposits are NOT refundable.
Are there payment plans?
The classes must be paid 3 weeks prior to class start date. You can make payments as long as class is paid 3 weeks prior to class start date. The classes are not expensive so therefore you don't need any loans. You can pay with cash (do not send cash), checks, money orders and credit cards through pay pal there is a small fee to use pay pal 3.5%
